Today, April 2

Maundy Thursday April 2, 2026
During our worship we will remember the events that took place on the night in which our Lord Jesus was betrayed. In keeping with Luther’s suggestion, we will begin with the sermon, so that we can focus on the Sacrament of Christ’s Body & Blood. At the end of the service is the Stripping of the Altar. This action symbolizes how Christ was stripped of His glory and power and was in the hands of His captors. After we finish reading Psalm 22, we will leave in silence, so we may ponder the high cost of our salvation.
