Isaiah, the 1st of the major prophets, had an active 54-year ministry centered around Jerusalem. He is mentioned by name in 6 New Testament Books. The prophet’s writing is referenced more than 35 times in the New Testament, and he is the most quoted Old Testament writer in the Gospel accounts. Obviously, this Prophet is worth listening to.
